Email Template Developer

We are seeking an experienced Email Template Developer to join our team, focusing
primarily on creating and maintaining high-quality HTML/CSS email templates across
various email clients. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the quirks and limitations of different email clients, and be able to design and develop templates that render consistently across platforms.
Duties:
• Create and maintain email templates using industry best practice HTML and CSS,
with a focus on code reusability and cross-client compatibility
• Collaborate with designers to ensure visual consistency and adherence to brand guidelines
• Implement and test dynamic content and triggered emails
• Conduct thorough QA, testing renderings across email clients, ISPs (Outlook, Google,
Hotmail), and devices to ensure optimal performance
• Work with marketing automation platforms to deploy and track email campaigns
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position,
• Solid experience in HTML, CSS, and knowledge of email-specific coding practices,
• Solid knowledge of media queries and Responsive Web Design,
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, and XML,
• Understanding of email client constraints, quirks, and accessibility guidelines
• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud,
Mailchimp, Hubspot, Marketo, SAP, etc.)
• Proficient in using code editors and version control systems like GIT and Github,
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
• Ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Ability to clearly convey technical concepts to clients using easy-to-understand
language
Nice to have:
• Experience with Adobe, Figma, Sketch
• Experience in designing supporting graphics and animations (statics, gifs,
infographics, etc.)
• Being comfortable with adapting new technologies and tools,
• Experience working on agile/Scrum projects
• Proactive and self-directed, able to work without extensive project management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-
technical clients in a consultant role
• Familiarity with AMP Script.
