What does a Principal Technology Advisor (PTA) do?

A Principal Technology Advisor is a high-level technical expert who combines both technical and business advisory experience. The PTA plays a substantial role in designing complex digital solutions (e.g. e-Commerce, Digital Experience Platforms), winning new clients, setting up project teams, scaling up the collaboration between different NoA Ignite offices.

The PTA can participate in projects (usually part-time) as an architect, tech lead, or technical project manager. This person is a mentor and thought leader for less experienced employees.

This person has one or more technical specialisations (e.g. Azure Cloud) and is willing to get familiar with the tech stack used in NoA Ignite. Although hands-on coding is not the PTA’s main focus, prior software development experience is essential. The Principal Technology Advisor has an opportunity to develop a career and transition into the Chief Technology Officer.
